There has been good accumulation of new snow on the ground since yesterday, and this has measured as 7cm. It is snowing moderately with very fine flakes coming down - this combined with some low cloud means visibility will be varied. Conditions are calm with no wind at base. The weekend looks promising with sun forecast on both Saturday and Sunday.
