Snowfall at base this season 318cm
Posted on Tuesday 4th February 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
A snow front arrived late afternoon and dumped big time for a few hours. The result is a beautiful 23cm of Central Hokkaido powder. Just remember this is 23cm in the Kitanomine village and I would expect at the top of the resort that new snow number could be in the 40's. The weather is another bonus with broken cloud and some sun coming down. The wind is light and temperature is -8c, which will stay pretty much around that level. Snow is forecast to fall from around midday.
