New snowfall at base 6cm
Snowfall at base this season 295cm
Posted on Monday 3rd February 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
There was a burst of snow in the late afternoon yesterday and it has left a very light dry layer of 6cm of new snow at base level. I would expect this to result in 10-15cm at the top of the resort. The weather is looking great for the morning period as well. There is a thin layer of cloud and plenty of bright sunlight coming through. From midday more snow is forecast which will roll through tomorrow as well. Piste conditions will be light fresh snow on a firm base.
