The snow continued off and on throughout the day and then started dumping bucket loads of sweet, white powder all over everything for hours on end last night. We're seening anywhere from 10-15cm, with possibly more in places, of high-quality, late season powder. For all you powder hounds out there looking to glide down a soft blanket of white, today is your day.

Especially if you want to do it on the Kitanomine Zone side of things, because today will be the last day of ski lift operations in Kitanomine. It seems a shame to put a stop to things when all the courses in such prime condition, but a quick look at the forecast for the week ahead reveals a sharp warming trend waiting in the wings as we head into April.

It's currently -7 with light winds out of the east, southeast, bringing with them scattered snow showers. It looks like we won't be seeing any of the big accumulations we saw yesterday, but all the snow that fell overnight is out there waiting to be carved up by somebody!
