The open courses are:
Sailer course (upper part of course only) 800m.
Spies course (upper part of course only) 800m.
Shirakaba course 740m.
Access to the upper mountain is by Furano Ropeway operating from 8:30am - 3:00pm. The skiable lift is only Furano Downhill Romance 2 chairlift. It is not possible to ski back to the base area. Furano Ropeway must be used for downloading to the base area.
Weather today is a wintery -4c at base and although there is a lot of cloud around it is broken up with plenty of sunny light coming through. Temperatures are expected to rise to +4c during the day and the not so good news is heavy rain is also forecast at base. There should be snow instead of rain at the top of the resort but strong winds are forecast.
