Snowfall at base this season 171cm

Posted on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

There has been 11cm of new snow overnight and it is still snowing very lightly at the moment. The snow is forecast to stop after midday and the cloud should breakup. It is -6c heading for a high temperature of -3c.

Cloud is very low and enveloping the base area, so visibility will be varied. With all this new snow the resort must be getting closer to opening up more terrain, so we are looking for good news on this front in the next few days.

Kitanomine Zone closed.

Furano Zone open.
