Happy New Year 2022, and it looks like a great morning to welcome in the year ahead.

Kitanomine Zone is now open and all go. There is 13cm of new snow that was dumped on the village yesterday so snow conditions on the mountain will be excellent. Looking up above things are clear and there is plenty of blue sky. High cloud may move in later. The strong winds that hit yesterday have now passed. Temperatures are cold with a current reading of -16c at base and -18c at the top.
