It is -9c in Furano town and snowing moderately at the moment. There is 4cm of new snow at base.
The snow will likely stop this morning and resume later in the afternoon. The high temperature of the day will be a chilly -5c.
Visibility is varied with cloud rolling halfway down the resort.
Furano Zone is open and it is expected Kitanomine will open on 24 Dec.
