It is -8c in town and heading for a high of just -7c today.
There is 3cm of new snow and it is snowing very lightly at the moment with the possibility of more coming in the afternoon.
The morning is looking pleasant with the early morning fog lifting to reveal partially clear skies.
Great skiing with plenty of fresh snow on the Furano Zone. Kitanomine Zone is scheduled for opening on December 24.
