Furano Ski Resort has an official opening target of this Saturday 20 November. At this stage some significant snowfall will be needed to be able to achieve opening on that day.

The good news is the first accumulation of snowfall in the ski village has occurred overnight. There is 3cm of snow on the ground, but is it is disappearing quickly as the morning rolls on.

It is pleasing to see the Kitanomine slopes covered in white from top to bottom from the overnight snow.
