MisterBates 0
Fairly new to Japan, never been here for winter so I'm stoked about the prospect of snow in the coming winter. I was wondering, what are the current trends on the Japanese slopes? Is it still snowboarding that is increasing in popularity or is skiing making a comeback? Parks? Cheers and see you out there! grungy-gonads 54
Hi MisterBates. Can I call you Master? From what I know which is maybe not much - pretty much evening out. Some resorts are more popular with boarders than others - some places almost totally boarding heaven. Depends on where you're talking about. Where are you and what is your style? mattlucas 0
I will always say that skiing never went anywhere. It's always been here. If anything we got rid of the people who wanted an easy way out.
BulbFish 0
Snowboarding is an easy way out? (I have yet to decide which to take up).
