sasq400 0
Conichowa, I'm from Canada and I'm planning a ski/snowboard trip to Japan with some fmaily member. The date for that that trip are mid-February to early March. Of course, we are looking for pow, lots of it if possible. Knowing that it's hard to predict where it will be from year to year, I would at least like to know where westerners like us could find high elevation (long vertical) mountain in the area of Nagano. It seems to me that Hokaido have better snow conditions (from the reviews I've read) but I think it would be too expensive to buy 4 plane tickets from Tokyo to somewhere in Hokaido as oppose to Tokyo - Nagano. So, am I right or wrong? And what are my options please!? Thank you all very much for you help! Cheers!
