XilR8 0
I've heard it's open with artificial snow. I've already waxed my board, and been to one of those Winter Sports Festa events to get some new gear. I'm champing at the bit. So: am I going to be horrifically disappointed?? I've only boarded for 1 season, and only on groomers at that. So I don't really mind an unspectacular course. Has anyone ever tried early-season Karuizawa?
Oyuki kigan 0
Yes. And i have no desire to do it again. Riding on a narrow run with green grass on the sides and a zillion fashion victims from Tokyo steezin` for no reason all over is not what snowboarding is about for me. Having said that, a friend of mine went last weekend and enjoyed herself, saying that my description lowered her expectations sufficinetly enough that she was suprised at olny having to wait in the lift line for 15 minutes.
