My company's health care policy provides limited cover but does not cover snowboarding or evacuation help to get you off the piste if I (or my ski/snowboard mad teenage children) have a real bad accident. I am a UK citizen but the companies over there aren't interested as soon as they know my residence is in Japan. Thanks for any tips in advance. Link to post Share on other sites

The cost is apx. 3,000 to 6,000 yen a year for skiing, and apx. 4,500 to 8,000 yen a year for snowboarding. A search word is "スキー保険" (ski insurance). You may see any ad flyers at ski shops.
