Chriselle 158
OK... all you Eikaiwa dudes and dudettes. I'm teaching my daughter and one other kid English once a week and I'm at the point of needing some kind of eikaiwa textbook. They are both 11 years old and can speak pretty well and we have gone through most of the lessons on GenkiEnglish...(I bought a membership). My daughter is a little tired of games and songs and wants to get a little more serious but I don't have much experience with conversation based workbooks which is the style I want to use....They will be into the hideous JHS text soon enough. Anyway...er...any thoughts ?

stemik 14
I buy American elementary school workbooks when go over to the states. These seem(ed) to work well for my kids. Though I have not taught any non-native speakers with them
Chriselle 158
Stemik...That's what my wife just suggested for the next time we go to Costco. I never look at the book section.
Chriselle 158
Actually, folks I need an adult intermediate Eikaiwa text as my wife has arranged for me to teach a couple of her friends a few times a month. Any thoughts would be appreciated there, too...
igloo 3
Can you define "adult"? I learnt a few choice words from a girlfriend once.
