zwelgen 0
So while I was having a blast at Nozawa today I was waiting for Chris to come down the slope and was waiting by a tree. It was a particularly beautiful tree, green licken encrusted with white but anyway Nestled in this tree was a small sparrow looking bird and it was eating something (green lichen maybe?) off the tree. I saw a few other birds up there today too. Now what I am trying to say is I havent seen any birds up there since, well since the snow really started to fall and my quesion is this Does this mean that spring is on the way? Is this the tail end of the powder? Is the season on the out and its mid feb? Were these just nutter birds that were in the wrong place? I have to stress that there wasnt just one, but a few, some sparrow looking birds and some NZ blackbird looking ones too. OH NO
damian 0
in switzerland at 2500m I saw plenty of black birds and other sparrow types. I confess that I saw them mainly near man made things, so I reckon the reason they were there was for the food scraps.
Boss7 0
I went to Nozawa in early January. And I saw plenty of birds. Crows and those pretty little black and white dudes. No need to worry. You're just "looking" too hard!
nori-chan 0
The birds are always there, I feel sorry for them in winter. It must be difficult life for them!
