I noticed on accomodation website that Feb the 10-12 was an additional cost is there a special holiday? Still don't know where I am going yet just the dates for now. nippontiger 8 Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Perhaps early February is more towards the very peak of the season weather-wise, but weather is weather and you could end up with a mild week beginning of feb and a blizzard at the end - probably not a huge amount in it. Similar story in terms of numbers of people in the resorts. Feb 11th is a national holiday in Japan - national foundation day. Link to post Share on other sites
Chris_3211 0 Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 That is true, looking old reports for feb 2011 (not that you can use this to predict feb 2012) they had some mild weather during the early weeks and some great falls towards the back end.
