kkk 7 Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 I was reading a newspaper article from the UK about some new ruling that seems to be saying that women are going to have to cough up more to bring their premiums in line with blokes as until now have been cheaper. Insurers in Aus are starting to go to a more flexible premium offering where your premium takes into account all the factors about you. Your sex, age, prior driving history and claim history, how you use your car (how far you drive/where you drive/whether you garage your car or not...) all contribute to work out the premium. Back when I last organised my own insurance (rather than have the broker do it with all the other insurances - OMG what a mine field) it was one price over 25 and one price under 25 and that was it!
