Have three nights spare down that way at present and was thinking staying at Miyajima and traveling across to Hiroshima for the sites each day. Would leave day to hike arounf Miyajima. Mick Rich 78 Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 I did something similar the summer before last and stayed in both places! I stayed a couple of nights at "Backpackers Miyajima" which is a hostel right next to the ferry terminal (on the mainland side) AND also the tram line station to Hiroshima. Miyajima was a good place though one day there is probably enough. I then stayed a night at "J Hoppers" hostel in Hiroshima which is within walking distance of the A-Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park & Museum. Depends what you want to see more but I remember thinking I should have stayed 2 nights in Hiroshima and just the one in Miyajima. Hope that helps! Link to post Share on other sites
