When we were at Nozawa Onsen last week, the hire fee for a set of boots/poles/skis for a week was in the region of 60000JPY. that's almost enough to pay for a pair of boots. Do that a couple of times and you could have bought a full set of kit. Compare that with the cost of a replacement set of poles at 970JPY! Link to post Share on other sites
