Sciclone 2 Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Hi all, on the back of the People in Cars thread, I decided to create a thread where we can all tell each other of dodgy/weird customers we've had to serve (or others who have told us), or dodgy stuff we've done (nothing illegal please, keep it PG). I've already said a couple in the other thread, but here's a couple of more... One time I was reversing a 4WD hilux with no powersteering out of the workshop, but nudged the wall with the bull bar, leaving paint and scratches on it.. Stuck out like a sore thumb. So I got this metal polish (Autosol is a live saver) and polished the paint and scratches out. Only problem was, the bull bar was faded alloy (20years worth of beach work) and the part I polish looked brand new. So over the course of the day, anytime my hands were greasy/oily, had dirty on them or what ever, I'd use the spot on the bullbar as my grease rag... by the end of the day you couldn't tell at all. I never told my workshop manager and the customer never complained.... Link to post Share on other sites
