Tubby Beaver 209
see there has just been a tsunami warning for the southern pacific coast as a result of the New Guinea earthquake (mag 7.5), looks like I'd better steer clear of the beach today....although it is just an advisory for this area with a height of only 0.5m
gerard 6
I saw the warning and figured it would be safe enough to go jogging around noon on the beach down here (I live on Shikoku for those who haven't read my signature!) I would have stayed up on the sea wall if it looked bad but it was as if there was just a particularly high tide. There were a couple of boats out too. Nice jog.
Mantas 3
We had a Tsunami warning here a year or so ago. People flocked TO the beach to get a good view.
