longboardsk8man 0 Posted March 20, 2007 Share Posted March 20, 2007 I was thinking the other day about a few mates back home who are into making their own toys (surfboards, sea kayaks etc) and wondered if there were many on this forum who had made (or tried to) make their own ski / snowboard gear.. Or if it is even possible?? If so - what did you make, and how did it compare with some of the standard 'off the shelf' equipment.. Link to post Share on other sites

slow 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 I went to see this (Three guys having fun to make their own skis, trying them at Mammoth mountain.) a few years ago and I thought it was pretty funny and heartwarming. I couldn't go but these enthusiastic skiers, who are artists and teacher had workshop at the gallery in Ginza as well.
