mogski 0
Just checking the Biccamer web site(larege electronic store here in Japan) For 16MB SmartMedia you are looking at 1080 yen. For 32MB SmartMedia you are looking at 1680 yen. For 16MB CompactFlash you are looking at 1780 yen. For 32MB CompactFlash you are looking at 1980 yen. For 16MB SD Memory you are looking at 2180 yen. For 32MB SD Memory you are looking at 3080 yen. (I think this one is the Panasonic only type of memory card.) There are many others! For a battery for your camera: 2.4hr life @ 8380 yen. (Battery model no. VW-VBD22) 3.1hr life @ 9120 yen. (Battery model no. VW-VBD33) 10.1hr life @ 18,280 yen. (Battery model no. VW-VBD5) Welcome to your net shop! Better add 5% consumpton tax to these prices if you aren't buying DF. (You can buy DF at this place.)

sam_casper 0
SO.... can u get internet prepaided CD kits in japan? you can get them over here you just buy a CD or sometimes they are given away and they give you 20 free hours or you pay and get the CD and internet time! do you have them? damian 0
dont know, but as with most things there is a rather large language barrier. Tokyo just isnt as easy as cruising down the street in sydney and picking up a prepaid CD (unless you know tokyo quite well and speak the language).
sam_casper 0
ah cool yeah i didnt really think of that hey... i donno just thought you might be able to get them i mean we gave them away in our video store!? mmm... gather there not as common in japan!?
damian 0
thats the thing... they could be as common as common but unless you can very quickly read japanese you wont even know the free offer is there, staring you right in the face. I suggest that you hook up with a local australian isp that offers global access.... and then hope that they have an access point in the little corner of japan that you are going to. (personally, I wouldnt even bother with the expense and the hassle).
