Don't know why the movies are so rediculously expensive here. When the choice is between 5 videos and 1 movie which may turn out to be a dud there's no choice at all really is there. I was talking to some students about this overcharging last week and one suggested it was because the seats are very comfortable-had to laugh at that. I imagine the real reason lies in some type of cozy cartel distribution system which sets artificially high prices and doesn't allow cost cutting competitors into the market. sam_casper 0 Posted October 27, 2002 Share Posted October 27, 2002 videos watch them all the time... work at a video store so we get free rentals... makes life nice... and going to the cinema only if theres somthing really work $12 on! which is rare otherwise we just wait for the preview tapes at work!!
