Shiga Kogen is a larger resort with a large variety of runs.

 

For me, Nozawa Onsen wins hands down for off piste riding i.e. Yamabiko and the "forbidden valley".

I have a selection of synthetic and wool thermal wear. I like like Icebreaker Merino wool thermals. Temperature/moisture regulation and stink resistant!

[Snowboard Movies]

Picked up "Lines" (a video all about Freeriding) and "Let It Ride" (featuring Craig Kelly) last season. Love them both. I felt inspired to be a better rider after watching "Let It Ride".
