Got a hole in the crotch area of my trousers on Tuesday after too many spins and jumps.
Can anyone recommend a decent pair of snowboard trousers for about 10,000yen or so? Have got a size 32" waist but big rugby thighs.

I also wear a helmet, but if fashion is your primary concern when you decide to wear a helmet, then I think you are missing the point.
Also, I really don't think that being stylish on the slopes in Japan is that important, especially when you see plenty of Japanese wearing 20 year old one piece ski suits, that was the part that I was laughing about most.
They're called skiers.

I did some stylish people at Maiko wearing bome-domes.
I'd rather be safe than sorry. If you don't agree, then I don't care.

For scientific purposes, I had a great day out followed by some sake and then by sex for control purposes.
If they are done in close proximity in time, the combined awesomeness of both is perfection.

Yep, agreed with Ippy. Going up there on the 9th/10th using black box and proved out to be quite cheap. Wonder what the hotel will be like?

Popped up to Maiko yesterday and probably had the best day of the season so far.
Weather said it was going to snow, so didn't take any photography equipment again. Got there, and it was a fine day, with lots of powder.
Inadvertently hit up some kickers and land some jumps, one bloody big one, which was more like 5ft, but for someone who doesn't do jumps, it was brilliant. Great day out. The Beast, aka the Buron TWC Wide, held up amazingly and has some serious pop in it.
