You'd think that the snow would completely cover the river and make it a non-river for 7 months of the year.

Not many people know about that chairlift.
I'm a bit miffed at Mitch for revealing it actually.
-
But be careful, it's berry berry steep!

Todays update has more on it I see.....

You guys been to Hokkaido yet?

People rip me off left right and center.
I particularly dislike paying my bloody taxes and insurance. WTF is that all about?
Hate paying for food and drink too and ski lift tickets too.
It's a scam, should all be free.

Perhaps it came across as you asking her if she was effectively a prostitute?

Quote:Show me anywhere on any site by any company here that claims there is always great skiing by early December. Niseko is a very different case to resorts on Honshu.
Perhaps not explicitly, but there is hardly a wary warning of expectations to help people make a decision. -

Only you can decide, but I would change this weekend to next weekend. For anywhere in Japan. -

But there will be.

No snow to report sadly.

I wonder how many years some of these "temporarily closed" places have been closed.

if you really looked the list you will see a youth hostel as well as a number of fairly cheap pensions etc.
There's a lot of expensive options in niseko, but there's something for peasants too!

I doubt it will have much impact on the season - unless of course it drags on and we get no(t much) snow.
-
You won't really need to worry about ice in niseko anyway, worst-skier.
It isn't Hakuba or another icy-prone resort in Honshu.

For the purposes of trying to make his point, it works.
