I had a lovely okonomiyake yesterday, I took ophotos and took a gps of the location so i can recommend /find it again.

Also had a lovely curry today (100yen off for gaijins lol.gif), and tonight will have a moss burger.

  3. Neil Young - Piece of Crap

     Quote:

    Tried to save the trees

    Bought a platsic bag

    The bottom fell out

It was a piece of crap

    Saw it on the tube

    Bought it on the phone

    Now you're home alone

    It's a piece of crap

I tried to plug in it

I tried to turn it on

    When I got it home

It was a piece of crap

    Got it from a friend

    On him you can depend

I found out in the end

It was a piece of crap

I'm trying to save the trees

    I saw it on TV

    They cut the forest down

To build a piece of crap

I went back to the store

    They gave me four more

The guy told me at the door

    It's a piece of crap

Actually, I love this song wave.gif

I am trying to rung through with a late order.

Hey, i make my own dinners & meals (She can't stand the smell of cooking lately). And, I suggested it's better for her to not have to work @ the moment, and concentrate on getting her body happy & balanced, for the journey ahead.

I am so seriously not a pig.... wave.gif

    yes, that really is disgusting.
I hate how MC Crapolds tries to mass-consumerize everthing.

Spooks pic was very yummy. I am trying to call Mrs Domo to get to the shops so i can treat myself to Eggs Benedict in the morning.... yum.

  6. In Perth, Western Australia, we just celebrate by having a huge fireworks display over the swan river. People congregate in their tens of thousands (don't know real figures) and have barbeques, picnics, listen to the radio, drink, play footy or cricket, drink, get sunburnt, drink etc etc.

It can be a great day out, but today is just too damn hot.

This will lead to a lot of idiots getting smashed (drinking ion a hot day, running around & not replenishing fluids is very stupid).

Anyhows, it is a nice atmosphere (if you like crowds), fingers crossed the idiots don't come out and ruin it for everyone....

I tradtionally like to have a barbecue, play some footy, and drink with mates.

  7. Ok, in reality, my idea is stupid, but in my world, I can be as creative as I want.

Eat all the Beef you want, raise all the cattle you want, just do it in large bio chambers.

They tapped into this idea (i think) in Mad Max 3, from memory.

These chambers could have methane collecting chambers/vents which draw the methane out. The methane could then be compressed & stored, and used asa power source.

     Quote:
Combustion of natural gas discharges no sulfur dioxide and far less nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide than that of oil or coal does. Burning pure methane emits only water and carbon dioxide. Methane can also be used as material of the fuel cell known as a clean power generator.

Ok, I may be dreaming, but it would be a great way to do things =)

  8. Spook, I know jack all about this stuff mate, just saying it would make a great global conspiracy... (I actualyl have a movie concept based on the cold war & the internet).. I am just being creative, since my logical sense sucks wave.gif

Is it a bad time to convert to Yen then?.. or should I consider getting some?...

  9. Yup. This is going to be huge. really looking forward to a few educated suggestions here.

Time to rely on your credit card less, eat @ home, spend less, and get ensure you can pay your mortgage easily for the next 18 months...

Oh, and I hope no-one is hoping to retire on your Superannuation... Isn't it bad that in the last 2 years, the Australian government pushed like hell to get peolle to invest in super?.... hmmm... I smell something fishy..

    On the flip side:

    Recession =

    1) Less consumerism, less productivity, less impact on the environment

    2) Possible cheaper holidays (whilst prices may rise on certain things, others drop as people need to amp up tourism to boost economy).

    3) The US takes a good look at itself and spends less on "Global terrorism", and more on the people

    4) Cheap Stocks if you want to buy in now...

The world will still turn, we will still breathe, tomorrow will always be another day.
