Well, I must say, I am very happy with japanese food. The quality, cost, and the way it is delivered, is fantastic.
I had a lovely okonomiyake yesterday, I took ophotos and took a gps of the location so i can recommend /find it again.
Also had a lovely curry today (100yen off for gaijins ), and tonight will have a moss burger.
I love it here, so does my tummy

Australian laws are outdated, and a crock of $h%t. I am leaving today for japan, I wish i could have been able to bring them over for you mate, you deserve it, and they need it.

Good morning all, we take off for Japan today (yay, finally!). We have a gruelling flight (Melb-Sydney-Osaka), but all totally worth it.

Remember the scene on Fight Club, when Brad Pit gets up from his window seat, to squeeze past Ed Norton and States, "Now the question, do I give him the arse, or the crutch" as he goes past?. Kinda puts a whole "bletch" feel to it now...

Neil Young - Piece of Crap
Quote:Tried to save the trees
Bought a platsic bag
The bottom fell out
It was a piece of crap
Saw it on the tube
Bought it on the phone
Now you're home alone
It's a piece of crap
I tried to plug in it
I tried to turn it on
When I got it home
It was a piece of crap
Got it from a friend
On him you can depend
I found out in the end
It was a piece of crap
I'm trying to save the trees
I saw it on TV
They cut the forest down
To build a piece of crap
I went back to the store
They gave me four more
The guy told me at the door
It's a piece of crap
Actually, I love this song

ah hahah.
She told me she was going shopping, and asked if I wanted anything...
I am trying to rung through with a late order.
Hey, i make my own dinners & meals (She can't stand the smell of cooking lately). And, I suggested it's better for her to not have to work @ the moment, and concentrate on getting her body happy & balanced, for the journey ahead.
I am so seriously not a pig....

I hate how MC Crapolds tries to mass-consumerize everthing.

eww. Microwaved eggs is disgusting.
Man, i am so hungry right now... hmmm, eggs benedict.....

REad the historical context of it.
it's certainly not a word that I would use nowadays....

I agree with you FT, it's the roll-on effect that kills things.
We have the same with mountain biking here, where a few people flaunt the regulations, everything gets tightened up, and fines become larger, and the fun gets killed.
Japans pow is safe from this snowboarding n00b.

Ahah, I love doing that Me jane.
I even use my old Basil brush egg cup

There are a few ways to sync your itunes with a non-ipod mp3 players.
Search for Ipod Sync and you'll get put on the right track. Your PC will be your best friend for doing this. What software does it come with?
have fun!

Don't worry, Domokun, lots of them are in Niseko and Hakuba.
I apologise on behalf of Kevin Rudd & Australia -
In Perth, Western Australia, we just celebrate by having a huge fireworks display over the swan river. People congregate in their tens of thousands (don't know real figures) and have barbeques, picnics, listen to the radio, drink, play footy or cricket, drink, get sunburnt, drink etc etc.
It can be a great day out, but today is just too damn hot.
This will lead to a lot of idiots getting smashed (drinking ion a hot day, running around & not replenishing fluids is very stupid).
Anyhows, it is a nice atmosphere (if you like crowds), fingers crossed the idiots don't come out and ruin it for everyone....
I tradtionally like to have a barbecue, play some footy, and drink with mates.

I love the Muppet Show, I love Drums.
This is one sweet "Drum off" between Animal & the Awesome Buddy Rich

jeez Mama, I hate jerks like that, I hope he breaks his leg
and poles himself on a tree to the point where he can no longer have children, because Australia is already full of arrogant turds like that. We don't need them breeding...
Glad you are ok mate, and this DEFINITELY makes my mind up to wear a helmet.
-
Ok, in reality, my idea is stupid, but in my world, I can be as creative as I want.
Eat all the Beef you want, raise all the cattle you want, just do it in large bio chambers.
They tapped into this idea (i think) in Mad Max 3, from memory.
These chambers could have methane collecting chambers/vents which draw the methane out. The methane could then be compressed & stored, and used asa power source.
Quote:Combustion of natural gas discharges no sulfur dioxide and far less nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide than that of oil or coal does. Burning pure methane emits only water and carbon dioxide. Methane can also be used as material of the fuel cell known as a clean power generator.Ok, I may be dreaming, but it would be a great way to do things =)

Spook, I know jack all about this stuff mate, just saying it would make a great global conspiracy... (I actualyl have a movie concept based on the cold war & the internet).. I am just being creative, since my logical sense sucks
Is it a bad time to convert to Yen then?.. or should I consider getting some?...
-
Yup. This is going to be huge. really looking forward to a few educated suggestions here.
Time to rely on your credit card less, eat @ home, spend less, and get ensure you can pay your mortgage easily for the next 18 months...
Oh, and I hope no-one is hoping to retire on your Superannuation... Isn't it bad that in the last 2 years, the Australian government pushed like hell to get peolle to invest in super?.... hmmm... I smell something fishy..
On the flip side:
Recession =
1) Less consumerism, less productivity, less impact on the environment
2) Possible cheaper holidays (whilst prices may rise on certain things, others drop as people need to amp up tourism to boost economy).
3) The US takes a good look at itself and spends less on "Global terrorism", and more on the people
4) Cheap Stocks if you want to buy in now...
The world will still turn, we will still breathe, tomorrow will always be another day.
Anybody in Hakuba for a drink this Saturday Feb. 9th?
