If it was soft fluffy Niigata snow, that wouldn't be a problem. My buddy tells me that after the snow, it rained a bit then the temperature droped well below zero and hasn't risen since. He said that while it looks soft and fluffy - it's a block of ice.

CB is right, it's in Kobe this weekend (osaka was last weekend). It's up at Makuhari on the 25~27, but if you are dealing with a tight window, you'll probably be better off going to Spotaka or some other sports shop.
