  1. Dunno yet... I have no clue where were gonna stay yet so I guess it may depend on that for a part. Is there no combined pass for the Hakuba resorts? Like for the entire valley or something? Do you have to get a sepperate pass for Happo, 47, Goryu,...? What would you guys suggest if you were to stay in the area for that ammount of time?
  2. yeah I'm sorry, I kinda meant we we're just staying in Hakuba, but will obviously do all nearby resorts. I just meant that we're not gonna move from Niseko to Hakuba... What's the most advantageous for skipass in the Hakuba area?
  3. we're staying from the 16th of jan until begin, mid april. Guys, thanks a gazillion for all your input. I think however, we'll have to stick to one resort... So Hakuba, here we come!!!
  4. So, thanks to some of you here, and due to several other factors, we've decided we'll be staying in Hakuba for 3 months!! Next step... Accommodation... There's a couple of neat places on the main site here that I've already contacted, but do any of you have any oppinions about any of the places? Anything to recommend? The very most we could afford is 75,000 yen a month, but we'd prefer not to. Though please, any recommendation in any price catagory is welcome. Thanks alot guys, planning this trip without Snow Japan would have been an impossible task...
  5. cheers for the info so far guys and appologies for the not performing a search noobish like behavior. *cowers away* still not entirely sure what to pick,... though Hakuba seems to be nearer other interesting sights and taking the trip from belgium, and staying this amount of time, i certainly want to take the opportunity to see some sights... otherwise i might as well have stayed in austria. thanks again for your opinions, it seems either choice would be a good one. we'll just have to see which is more convenient.
  6. Hi guys, I'm planning to head out to Japan for some snowboarding and our initial plan was to head to Niseko, cause we'd meet up with a friend from New Zealand there. Whilst looking for accommodation we got a good offer for Hakuba and since our New Zealand friend busted his shoulder, he probably won't make it anyway. So I was wondering, which resort would you choose, and for what purpouse? I've heard Niseko gets the best powder, but Hakuba has steeper slopes and a better park? We're staying for 3 months, so the size of the resort (and price of a skipass) would also be thing
