This probably deserves its own thread. Which sport is worst? I bet it isn't F1!
OK, off you go, then!
I wont start it as I don't have any hard information and don't have the inclination or time to do the research. However my gut feel is that other top end forms of entertainment such as international concerts, tennis, rugby, soccer, golf, America's Cup, et al should be scrutinised before handing out the "Worst Culprit Out There" award to F1. -
So are you saying F1 should go away? Or are things like this season's development of KERS and measures taken to reduce costs on engine development and wind tunnel testing a good idea?
-
Yeah, Speech!
I especially what to hear a summary of the forum wars of the last few years!

I'd be looking to live in JB where everything costs like one third (including the cars), life is more interesting and do the commute thing to get to work.

We still have full sun. Extremely bright!

Yep. And it's all based on the shaken. Because Japanese cars lose their value quickly relative to the amount of life they have left in them, they can be easily resold in other parts of the world. NZ's 2nd hand market has been based on this for many years. So if the shaken becomes much cheaper and the Japanese start to keep their cars for longer it could have quite an impact on the NZ economy.
