Does anyone know if you can hire pants, parka and especially goggles as well as skis, boots and poles for a first-time skier in Shiga Kogen? In particular, Okushiga or Yakebitaiyama.

Thanks to all for the replies. Cost is reasonable and we'll get a taxi then. This means we can start on the slopes early the next morning Tried the hotel but their English is not the best.

I understand there's a shuttle bus that goes from Nagano to the resorts. Trouble is, I won't be getting to Nagano (by Shinkansen) until after about 18:30 and I think the last bus is at 18:10. Is there a web site for the shuttle bus timetable in English? If not, how much would a taxi cost? I've booked in to the Okushiga Kogen Hotel. Does anyone know if they would pick me up? Thanks
