I'm looking to make a last minute snowboarding trip out from Tokyo next week, but I'm a total noob to Japan's resorts. Does anyone have any pointers on where would be a good place to go? Looking for: 1) Ease of access from Tokyo (it's own shinkansen station, for example). 2) Somewhere to stay (for non-Japanese speakers!) 3) Need to rent snowboard + bindings. 4) Maybe somewhere with some snow... Can anyone help with ideas, or have I left it a bit late...
