  1. Just wondering how many snowboarders out there skateboard during the "off season." Well?
  2. The website says it'll still be open, but what can I expect as far as snow quality? I don't have a specific resort in mind, just any one of the Hakuba resorts will do (feel free to recommend me the one that can be expected to be the best for that time of year). Also I'd be staying overnight, so are the prices for lodging going to be higher because of the holiday? Any advice on planning this trip would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've always had the guys in the ski shop wax my board for me, but now that I've been going quite a bit more regularly, the 800 yen a pop is starting to add up, so I'm going to start doing the job myself. How necessary is it to use the "remover" spray to remove the old wax before applying new stuff? Is this only if you'll be applying a type of wax different from what's already on there, or do I still need to do it even if I'm just applying a fresh coat of the same stuff? The shop near me sells two types of "All Snow" wax--Fluoro Wax and Silicone Wax
