It's on Route 17 between Gala Yuzawa and Ishiuchi Maruyama, about 3km from Yuzawa IC (going north). This photo is taken looking back towards Yuzawa. That's Gala Yuzawa station/gondola station you can see below the blue sign in the distance.
Great idea. So, everyone, if you visit the Yuzawa area this season (no, Niigata!) then make sure you get to the Emergency Telephone Box and have your pic taken. I'm sure we'll come up with a magnificent prize for the best.

While we have records of access numbers, we'd like to find out a bit more about how people might be using the rss feeds and mobile pages of snow japan, and how you might intend to use them as the season gets underway.

Unfortunately according to this page:

it looks like there isn't a shuttle bus running on that Tuesday.
A taxi to JK from Yuzawa would be expensive - probably somewhere between 3000-4000 yen (really not sure on that), so unfortunately waiting for the train might be the way to go.

Yes as the site gets bigger and busier all the time, I've been brought in to help out.

Apparently the email goes out to the original mail you used to register... changing this is on the "to do" pile.

Unfortunately we don't have a "Change email" functionality at the moment - it's on the "things we want to do" pile (but not at the top!

Thanks for pointing that out muikabochi -------> seems we only changed it on the main Echigo theme so need to go in and do the changes on the others too.
