If anyone is interested in backcountry, you should pick it up as it has loads of bc info in it

rub on wax lasts for 1 to 3 runs. hot wax lasts roughly 3 days worth of riding

call up Rapies in Hakuba. They have a website. Their stuff is always a little discounted and their shipping is ridiculously cheap
I know for sure they have those snowshoes
to find their site just do a google search for rapie hakuba
and they'll pop first. just had a look on the site and they don't have a price for them listed, so you'll have to call them up. They speak English.

Red dog, have you been to Hunk yet? just wondering if it's still around.
You can just jump on the highway and hit Naeba.
For park action Oze Tokura and I think saera are good. Oh yeah, Hotaka Bokujo has a good park too

wow, I'm impressed.
but seriously who has time to pull out the liners of every boot you try on in the store? Burton liners are difficult to pull out. Why not just get sized properly? ie put your foot on one of those mondo measuring devices. sounds easier to me.

this is a resort that will charge you for a day pass if you want to ride on the day you buy a season pass.
ie you show up on the first day of the season and buy a pass. but it takes 3 days to process so they make you buy 3 day passes (if you want to ride).
Every other resort I know just gives you a ticket for those days.
