Went up this week just for a drive and look around. Had some bread. Great place even when I'm not riding the snow.

The snow is fantastic there, and yes, you probably are 'selling it short' especially as you have never been there.
I hope Shiga Kogen won't become what Hakuba will/is become/ing. Though I think it is fairly well protected from that.

Basically, no.
But I live fairly close by and have had a decent season and my fill. It really depends how desperate you are. If you are ok with late late spring snow and just a few short runs open, go for it! -
Today and Monday and Tuesday next week. Same as most people it seems.
No extended week long this year.

Thats just it - if snow condition allow, but only a very few places - some with the help of artificial snow.
It is December before most places can properly open.

I can't see Bush not going. Having said that, he's out soon so he might do just what he wants which is who knows what.

Hi folks, well I picked a good time to get my last Shiga Kogen time in this season, fresh snow this morning and a bit more over the day. Hopefully a bit more tonight. I was expecting total spring conditions but happily surprised. Not deep of course but a nice cover on top

Jungle Fever, enjoyed it some good laughs in there (though it's not a comedy). In some ways like the other Snipes film One Night Stand.

Gives me the impression of 'pretentious' somehow, possibly because I don't exactly know what it is supposed to mean, only associate it with something over-priced and all image.

I have had a go in one of these. It was more fun than scary but hard to imagine feeling that all of a sudden in your own house.
I wonder how many of these things they have doing the rounds.

I didn't know but my folder says 2436. Actually enjoyed looking back 5 or 6 years. I have definitely put on weight, it has spurred me on to lose it before summer. I needed that jolt.
