I witnessed an extreme display of rudeness the other night. My boyfriend and I went to dinner at our favourite restaurant and we were seated next to two girls who were chatting and looking at the menu. We'd eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and knew exactly what we wanted, so we ordered straight away.
When our meals arrived, one of the girls stopped the waiter and said "Excuse me, we were here before them, why are they getting their meals before us?". The waiter very politely explained that we'd ordered before them but the girl continued to argue and speak to the waiter in a very condescending tone.
We began eating and tried to ignore the dirty looks they were giving us. After a minute, the first girl commented to me snidely, "Hope you're enjoying that, we've been waiting for ages and we're starving". I was quite stunned and it took every ounce of self-control I had not to jab her with my fork.
We finished our meal without further incidence, however, at one point we heard them arguing with the waiter again, demanding that they should receive free coffees because their meals were "awful".
Rude!

A couple of years ago I lost the memory card out of my camera while on the slopes. It had pretty much every single photo we'd taken on the trip on it so I was really bummed.
On the same trip my best friend (who lurks on this forum but is afraid to post
) lost a rather expensive diamond earring when she yanked her goggles off while on the chairlift. She has since learned not to wear bling on the slopes

On some people they look cool but on others they look a bit feral.

Speaking of bad hairstyles, I think rats tails are coming back into fashion. I've seen two guys and one girl sporting one in the past month... scary.

My dad, lovable as he is, always left stuff like talking to doctors, teachers etc, up to my mum. It's really cool that you are so involved. Glad to hear your kids are doing well.

I'm not too fussy about shampoo and conditioner but I do try and buy the silicone-free stuff, which costs about $10 a bottle.

I got a perm in grade 7 for the graduation dance. I looked like a little poodle. Unfortunately there are photos hanging on the walls of my parents house, so I'll never be able to forget...

Did anyone see the weightlifting chicks? They're amazing. Especially the Canadian girl, she has such a small physique but she's obviously got incredible strength.

I needn't worry about spreading it about 011 - everyone at work either has it or has had it. I'm among the last to get it. Yay me!
Snobee, maybe it's not a flu, I dunno. If it's not, it's certainly the worst freakin' cold I've ever had.
CB hope yours clears up soon - and the migraine. Migraines are possibly worse than the flu even!

Spud, maybe rather than blaming me you should look at the way you post. Considering that most of the time your posts are responses to mine and are intentionally argumentative, why should I all of a sudden interpret your posts as being lighthearted and jovial?
Tell you what, I'll seriously consider 'pulling my head in' if you seriously consider seeking professional help for being such a tool.
