I actually thought asking for 700 yen was rather "ketchi" after spending all that money on the camera, but I wanted it so went down the po to get the required cheques.
-
I phoned Nikon and got me to send one (not got it yet).
(I can't cope with online manuals and printing them out, want the little one). Cost me 700 yen.
-
No firm plans yet.

What a lovely camera
Software - thoughts on the provided Picture Project (Japanese!) and/or Photoshop Elements 5.0 please!!!
-
I like them too.

Don't worry no bubbles have been burst.
When the 2GB is 11-12,000 yen it made sense.
(Apart from the Fisheye bubble perhaps, but I haven't bought that).
-
Not exactly based on the talents of each member then
-
It was only 50% more than the 2GB they had a special offer on so I thought I'd go for that. Got it for under 15000 yen.
I don't do things half-heartedly

I got the 4GB Extreme III card.

OK OK. So the clear one goes on, and the UV one on top of that? You can do that then....
-
Whoops you've just confused me.
A clear filter OR a UV filter??
-
You're right. Maybe I will get the Fisheye later but I do like the look of it. Problem is I probably won't be "really sure" until I've got it and in the meantime always be thinking I really want that
But I do need the UV filter, bag and other smaller things to get me going. They will in the next few days probably.

Howard The Duck is on Movie Plus channel this Sunday.
Make sure you avoid it.
-
Will do. Oh dear, the budget required is increasing. But I'm going to get kitted out and get it over with
-
To have fun and take different kinds of shots.
That's what it's all about for me.
Do you like it and what do you use it for? I remember seeing that shot you did on here. Fun!
-
As I'm on a spending role, I'm really tempted to get the Fisheye lens. It looks like a while lot of fun.

The Nikon 18-200mm

UV filter - any particular recommendations there for me?
Appreciate all the "support"!

Got my nice new shiny gold boxes this morning and just unpacked it all. Feels really nice. Love opening new things like this and slowly looking it all over
See you later!

I gave up on that one half way through when he started flying. Jennifer is very nice I agree.
-
Thanks will take a look.
It's tomorrow that I'll get it now. Just wondering what accessories I might be tempted to get with it. What's on your accessory list that you would recommend? Go on give it me straight how much money I am going to need

Oh ok thanks, sorry. So is that in Akihabara?
-
No, I know about the one I bought thecamera from. I'm curious about the bigger shops to see a selection of gear. Any tips?
-
One of those cabinets look good. I can see my costs going up and up now.
Which shop in Akihabara or other part of Tokyo would you recommend for photo gear?

Unless you want to bother with it of course.
I started printing out some ebook and decided that it was not only a waste of a lot of paper and ink but it was pretty much all the same. I will enjoy having the official manual and will back that up with some online reading when I'm sat at my pc.
I also got the "Magic Lantern" guide for the D200 which seems ok. Not really spent much time on it yet.
