Reading that got me all emotional, remembering a dog we used to have when I was a kid. He was just the best creature ever (we thought, of course).
Also knew a dog that was really badly treated and a friend took it in. He was really wary of people at first - especially big fellas with no hair, probably ones who looked like the guy who mistreated him - and it took a while but he's been converted to a loving dog and gets friendlier every time I meet him (every 6 months or so).

Hey this may well have been covered before elsewhere, but.... time to pack my gear away. Any special things you do before packing? (Apart from cry and some ritual dance - more to take care of the gear / clean / wax etc)

I heard that it was an indefinite time that they can't give blood - so basically until the rule changes. This was a school nurse that told me this, I don't know how much she knows about it all. (It gave me a good excuse to talk with here though.

The Rule of Four - I thought that was truly shite, for an airport novel DaVinci was better even though I wasn't particularly impressed with that either.
