anyone out there stayed at pension white bear,whats it like . hows the snow in mid to late march? any info appreciated...

Hi all, we returned from niseko a fortnight ago and i still can't stop thinking about how good the snow was also the people and delicious food,as my friend and i where 'three trackers'or one legged skiers, we found the japanese people very helpful and the lift operators most accomodating. the region is very scenic and again the culture,people and food was a bonus on top of great ski-ing. We are definitly going back. 2 happy aussies....

Thanks for your support people,we are both looking forwards to skiing your part of the world and try some powder,has anyone stayed at australia house before? any feedback appreciated,also those hot springs look tempting..thanks ..Dimce

yes sakebomb I'm an amp.that uses one ski and a pair of modified crutches called outriggers they have a ski tip on each end hence three tracks in the snow,I've only just discovered the freedom of ski-ing and look to improve,tell me how different is powder to ski? do you need a fatter ski or shorter??? dimce
