right on, thanks for the info, anyone know of a good place to stay in happo? i was thinkin hakuba springs, hakuba hotel or high mount hakuba, im goin with the girl so it needs to be pretty close to the lift. anyone know if the the beer garden in hakuba springs is good as they advertise it to be?thanks

ive been to hakuba a few times (both happoone and 47/goryu) great snow but couldnt really find a place to get a drink at night. thinkin about takin a mon-fri trip to nozawa at the end of dec. anyone know of a good place to stay in nozawa or palces to get a beer? thanks.

try the sports authority in Yokohama(right by Gas Panic). got a Libtech Phoenix there last year for about 25,000 yen. most of the stuff is ridiculous but there are good deals

Anyone know of any ski areas with decent bars and nightlife? I went to Hakuba all last year (this is my second winter) but the town seemed to shut down when the slopes did. nozawa? yuzawa?
