I do think there is a difference between arrogance and believing oneself to be a "hero" though.
A lot of these guys are just kids and i think that lends to the tough guy attitude just as much as anything else.

I think most U.S. states also prohibit abortion in the 3rd trimester (6 months/24 weeks), except for the health or safety of the mother.

that's crazy....we used to get suspended, sent home, for wearing shorts! I guess the "problem," as we gaijin see it, is a bit more of a cultural distinction. Obviously the parents are OK with it....err....at least the fathers riding the subways are. And I guess that is all that matters so long as they get to the office with a big dirty smile on their mugs.

i used to work on a strawberry and peach farm as a kid...$2.00/hr...used to come home with hands stained red. Farmer Jon never seemed to care though, I think he liked our company and the old ladies who came to pick loved for us to carry their freshies to their cars. and there is nothin like a freshly picked peach...I remember my mouth watering for like 10 minutes after eating one.

at the Nagoya immi office, there's a stamp guy set up shop right in the elevator lobby! pretty sweet actually...yet of course, he runs different hours than the immi windows.

we have a 7 week old golden retriever named Vega...i have not even met her yet, I will on Saturday!
