Definitely through Tokyo.
The best way to go to hakuba is not the sinkansen but the express train from sinjuku.
It is cheaper than the sincansen (about 16000 yen round trip were sinkansen + bus 20000) and you dont even have to change trains. There are special express trains that go straight to hakuba, it takes 3.5 hours, wile sinkansen to nagano takes around 2 hours from Tokyo + bus 1 hour + you will have to move around with the language to get on the bus.
Last time I went, I was traveling with a friend and we had 2 snowboard bags with us.
No one gave us any problems with the bags; just make sure you stay in line to get on the train at least 30 minutes before departure, if you want to find space over your seats to put your language. Even if you dont do so, you can always leave your language in the space between the cars, no one will complain, I have done it myself many times.
Nozawa by car is usually 4 hours. But if you get caught in traffic it might even take 8!
Unfortunately I had that experience so I prefer sinkansen to Nagano and then local train to togari-nozawa onsen and the taxi or bus to nozawa. There is also a bus from Nagano station to nozawa but I havent used that yet.

ok with that, but I have 2 questions.
a) Befor start puting new wax on the board, do you remoove the old one first?
How do you aply first the base/cleaning wax and then the normal wax?

Has anyone out there tried to do it by himself?
I am the “do it yourself” type and I wanna start doing it from this season.
So, before I start putting a burning hot iron on the board, I could use some tips from someone that already done it. I have downloaded some manuals about this mater but I need some practical advice.

Interesting article, although it’s not something new. I have read more about Cuba in the past. I mast say though that Cuba is not as easy mater to deal with as Iraq was.
By the way, what’s your rate on Cuba?
I give 1/100000000

I `ve got my self a pare of Spy goggles and 2 extra lenses. The goggles came with blue mirrors and I also got extra 1 pink and 1 yellow.
I really like the blue ones but you can use them only when it’s really sunny or else you will not be able to see a damn thing through them. Strangely I was able to use them during night skiing with not much problems.
For a cloudy day I use the pink ones, which by the way are the ones that I `ve been using the most last season. .
Finally, although I hate the yellow ones they really work on a day that it’s snowing or it is foggy.
