I like liver. I prefer it a bit rare because if its over done it gets too dry and tasteless.

Do you still live in the 70-80's or something? The Iron Curtain has fallen in early 90's so since we live in 2008 that means that she was born far after that. If you kept a track on the news about this, that have gone silent by the way, she has presented her passport that says she is 16. Are we gonna accuse China for publishing fake passports to their citizens?
As far as I understand and remember from my school years, kids train for gymnastics as early as 6. In fact, if you are past 10 its too late to start training. So if you are aiming to become a world clash athlete by the time you turn 16, you better get your arse ready for some hard training or find something better to do with your time.
If you call that abuse, then what do you call the "western" way of training, to give teenagers steroids and all other crap up to 2 months before the games and then drop them so that they wont be detected by the WADA tests. Unfortunately the sports industry is who is pushing kids to their limits, not a country. -
If thats the problem then for me she is 16.
Its high time fossilized rules change.

I don't think the problem is how old she is, but if someone is good enough to win a gold medal should be permitted to compete regardless of age.

To do nothing. Not only that, but Turkey refused them to pass a US ship during the conflict from the Bosporus straights.

The big Athens earthquake in 1981, maybe thats why I became a seismologist.

Isn't also a coincidence that the same guy together with the German PM blocked the NATO sanctions against Russia last week and also the expansion of NATO to Georgia and Ukraine a few months ago.

Great benefit actually. Now that the oil prises went up and all western countries were seeing their economies to slow down, Russia's economy was strengthened by selling gas and oil into Europe. Dont forget it is the main seller of gas and higher prices means higher profits.
Through Georgia passes the only other alternative pipeline from Caspian sea towards the Mediterranean, which was shutdown during the hostilities. Which also means that everyone was buying from the only seller left in the territory aka Russia.
Did you notice who was the first western leader to go to Russia after the war stated?

Russia doesn't really need resources, does she Ezo?
When polls give Putin 80% approval, I don't think he needs a war to draw attention elsewhere.
I am happy to see that balance is finally coming back. I didn't like the one superpower "I decide and I command" way that things have been dealt up to now.

No good to bring the girlfriend with you.
