  1. The idea is great, but a microdrive isn't a good memory storage device. Many photographers used these microdrives but they have a tendency to break. So if you have this thing and you crash while skiing/boarding it might be the end of your $1800 camcorder.

  2. You could try to sell your story to a magazine to make something out of it, but you will need good pictures.

If you are into touring try Pakistan or even Afghanistan that will make up a good story to sell to a magazine. There are plenty of people making a living by writing about their (snowboard)travels.

Try to make your trip different, by going to different places (South-africa) or the way you travel. (Once heard about a Japanese guy cycling around the world with his standard Japanese 3-speed bicycle).

  3. It was great to meet you. Had expected a higher tunr-up though. But this was good to at least meet/talk to everyone.

I liked the places. Pretty boring no really loud music and if you run out of topics to talk about then there is always the waitress.

I like Kabuki-cho better than Sanchome. At least you know exactly what to expect in kabukicho. Feels a bit like the red light district back home (but further away). Odd place but in general pretty safe if you don't fool around with certain people.

  4. 2 weeks ago I was in Naeba and a lot of terrain was closed. Patrol was on high alert. But you could easily circumvent the ropes to get waistdeep into the good stuff.

I didn't duck or jump ropes, just took a more creative lineon the slopes, with 5meters walking up to a closed chair.

If they don't want me there then they should make rethink on where they put the ropes.
