where's the place to snowboard?? I've been to a lot of resorts all over Ishikawa (crap, of course), Toyama (not great), and Nagano... also a couple spots in Hokkaido and Arain Mountain & Spa in Niigata. But I'm looking for somewhere new. I was thinking about Tohoku. Is there anything great in Tohoku? I've heard that Zao is pretty good, but with a lot of flat-- I'm definitely not into flat. Anything amazing in Niigata I shouldn't miss? A little help here!
What are some recommendations? My trip will be around December 22- 30 for about 4 days.
