SSX Blur for Wii finally gets a release date in Japan:
13th September.

Not seen it yet looks like a daft one in the same kind of vein as Starship Troopers (maybe?)
But I saw Die Hard 4 and thought that was pretty good. They did pretty good on that one.
Pirates III was overlong, mixed up and generally poor.

I always think the same frannyo. Japan doesn't seem to be into smells in the same way as maybe back home is - the lack of perfume, deoderant smells, nice-smelling clothes....

Seems MS are owning up to the unacceptable level of red lights ring of death on the 360:
"Microsoft has said that it is facing a bill of more than $1bn to cover the cost of offering extended warranties, after failings with its Xbox 360. The company admitted it had been forced to make "an unacceptable number of repairs" to the consoles after key hardware failed. Customers who suffer the problems will now be given a free three-year warranty, the company said. The failures are indicated by three red flashing lights on the console."
More than $1bn.

The Wii's lead against the PS3 was 4 to 1 in April and 5 to 1 in May.
At that rate, another few months and it will be 10 to 1. -
Wii outselling PS3 5-1 in Japan for the month of May.

I feel very sad and angry watching things like that. I cannot understand how people can sit there and laugh.
I also think it is bordering on ridiculous to compare what we see on that video to people wearing leather shoes.

There is an interesting read on the current Will phenom here. I must say I am surprised at how madly it is selling. It surely will be very interesting to see how things stand 1 and 2 years down the road.

I had only problems with Ghost myself when I had it a few versions back. I ended up just copying files and manually doing other settings, it worked out less hassle even if it took a fair while.

It's a whole lot of fun bobby... the graphics may not be ps3 level but they are not bad - it's all about fun, not individual hairs in a guys eyebrows, and the Wii offers a lot of that.

One that I often seem to use is to get out of enkais and meetings.

It took us just over 3 hours when we went - though that was with snow conditions in Hakuba. So I would think now you might be able to do it less than that. But 3 is a good number.
