Always hear about Hirafu but not as much about Higashiyama and Annupuri. I have read the reviews and stuff and seen maps but wondered if any of the forum people could come up with further comments

OK so I phone someone up and ask for Mr Takahashi.
The guy that answers the phone says "wait a minute".
Comes back 10 seconds later and asks for my name.
Then goes away again and says the dude is busy.
Blatant screening or what?
I know I do phone screening at times, but this came across as rather rude.

Resting. Got up at 11am. Lazed about. Going to drink and watch some movies with the lady tonight.

2 years ago I had 30kg. I went through ok without any mention of being overweight.
This summer I had 27kg and they asked me to pay for 4kg. I refused and ended up taking a few things out that were really not needed (think chocolate and tins) and then reluctantly letting me through at 25kg.
Same airline, same flight, almost the same date even.
I agree the inconsistency is really annoying.
